The Blue River is one one of
Oklahoma's last free-flowing rivers. It is fed by the cold clear
waters of the Arbuckle-Simpson Aquifer. Perhaps the most
scenic area of the Blue is between the Highway 7 Bridge and Cheadle
Crossing north of Milburn, Oklahoma. Along this stretch you will
find numerous granite outcroppings and waterfalls as it flows into the
Blue River Fishing and Camping Area. You will also find a healthy
population of Seaside Adler Trees which are very rare and
quite unique for the Blue River. The Blue also boasts a healthy
population of wildlife including some great smallmouth and largemouth
bass fishing. From November through March you can also enjoy trout
fishing in the WMA. Most importantly, you will find that our spacious and authentic log cabin is located right on the bank of the Blue River and it's available for your retreat, event, or quiet weekend getaway !! ![]() |
